Welcome to the Pediatric Residency Program
CHAM is the pediatric University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Our pediatric residency welcomes 30 interns per year and offers excellent exposure to all subspecialty patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The Pediatric Emergency Department has over 50,000 visits per year and we care for approximately 8,000 inpatients at our state-of-the-art facility each year.
Our faculty members have been nationally and internationally recognized for their contributions to the field of pediatrics and CHAM has been ranked among the top 50 pediatric specialty programs in the country in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals for the past 16 years. With ample experience to patients with high-acuity illnesses and both common and uncommon diagnoses, our residents are well-prepared for whatever careers they may choose in general or subspecialty pediatrics.
